We provide specialised, professional social work services to deaf, deafened and hard of hearing adults and young people over the age of 17 who are in transition. We offer the full spectrum of services, including person centred assessments, support planning, reviews and signposting to other services.
For deaf and hard of hearing people, our Technical Officer can undertake assessments to help people access equipment for use within the home. For those with mobility issues, we can carry out assessments in the home. If you would like to arrange an assessment in the home, please contact us.
Our Rehabilitation Officer can support clients with a sight loss to remain as independent as possible in their home, helping them to maintain their health and wellbeing. A range of support is available including mobility and orientation and daily living skills.
